How-to-Learn-Marketing-Through-Instagram-06

Graphic design has journeyed through an expansive timeline, evolving from simple inscriptions and print to complex digital media. This evolution mirrors the technological advancements and cultural shifts over the decades, influencing how brands communicate visually. From traditional printmaking techniques to the digital revolution, graphic design has been pivotal in shaping visual communication and brand identity.

The early days of graphic design were marked by manual processes, involving physical tools like the printing press and typesetting. As the digital age dawned, tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator transformed the landscape, allowing for more intricate designs and faster production times. Today, graphic design extends beyond print, encompassing digital platforms and interactive media, reflecting the dynamic nature of human communication.

Logo Design and Vibrant Brand Design Portfolio

This vibrant portfolio project contains works as part of my graphic design collection covering print, logo, brand identity, and graphic design. Graphic design is the centre with a specialization in logo design, brand identity. Here you can see a range of projects from start-ups to established businesses.

Background History

Designing Logos and branding has become a passion for some time. I started with photoshop as a photographer with time to move further into digital while learning new skills. While studying desktop publishing and image correction in 2000+, but by that time, the internet was growing, and most people wanted websites.

I moved on to HTML and CSS and built static sites. I kept expanding my skills in graphic design and the basics of visual communication. I have always continued my studies, not in the most traditional ways.

But by online courses, lynda.com was the best place to do classes, with Adobe dominating all areas after Adobe took over Macromedia. I still study with skillshare, PSDBOX, and many others for inspiration and newfound skills. It seems that there is always something to learn or teach.

Brand Identity Portfolio

Brand identity or branding has been a work in progress as I learn more and more with each working project I add to my portfolio. The needs and requirements of brand identity are extensive research and development, covering many areas. The logo is one part.

Every new project on brand comes incredibly personal and different. It is an experience that embroils all aspects of visual communication and media formats.

Changing World of Graphic Design

The world today is ever-changing with new digital advances. We have moved on from print projects as our standard means of communication. We travelled through the growth of the world wide web with websites.

Our formats have changed colour pallets and have restrictions to web safe colour for screen views to screen sizes for ever-changing, not to mention the problematic mobile devices and the screen sizes.

Print projects continue but at a much lower rate than before, with new and more advanced applications Catering to the need of the day technologies.

The same rules apply to then and now for communicating as a result of storytelling a message to convey to the viewer with more provisions mentioned above colour and size/weight of an image.

The internet can deliver today’s graphics in several ways, through websites, social media, and online adverts similar to print and newspaper.

With the increasing number of internet users and platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, Instagram motion graphics and videos become the next new thing in many ways one need to keep up with trends.

Logo Design Portfolio Projects

It has been a growing trend for me to create logos before I had done other design work. Unlike brand identity, the research and development are extensive and not as elaborate as brand identity. The portfolio gives you an idea of the range of styles I have experienced with start-ups and personal branding, which is up in the 21st century.

Print and Graphic Design Portfolio Projects

I started with print work and Desktop publishing, but at an era when it was disappearing with all the new digital world coming in. My graphics became more artistic as I learned more technics.

I do find that it is something that I love most preparing any project to print with graphic design projects for posters to packaging.

As I write, this has changed from print to social media network platforms, designs in adverts and promotions of services and products with mobile-sized adverts more prevalent as nearly 50% of internet users are on mobile devices.
