The Brief Summary
Naturous project requires creating a brand for a cosmetic range. There are no other requirements; here is a list of requirements for the project:
- Logo design fitting to the brief
- Three products designed for either men or women
- Adverts ¼, ½ and full-page
- Render the products and graphics for the product
- Website Prototype
- Logo Design Colours
A naturous logo is designed with curved typography to emphasize gentle but firmness. Colours are elements used in each of the products.
The logo was made in a neutral colour for a stronger emphasis and deferential to the elements within each product to stand on their own.
Brand Elements: Textures, Gradient
Each product has unique ingredients to separate them, so each has its identity.
The colour represents an element of the product, and the texture adds an element to the design that represents luxury and quality.
Naturous Skincare Logo
Naturous logo, as you can see, we kept the logo simple so that it can be used on a light or a dark background colour.
This decision is to give the logo more use and flexibility on usage; we did not want to distract from the letterforms so they could stand out by themself.
The Naturous mark will be used for avatars and website icons, and again we wanted it to make its impression.
Naturous Logo Mark Icon And Avatar
There were two final choices for the logo mark concepts. The N of Naturous Men’s Skincare is the first abstract of the letter N and the second is a more simple modified letter N.
After careful consideration, we chose the abstract letter N for the logomark, icon and Avatar for social media.
The abstract logomark and icon are much more distinct and fit with the other elements of texture and typography of the logo word.
